a walk down memory lane (or 17th street)

There was a huge storm over the weekend, rain and wind... lots of it.

So naturally, as I am walking through the city on Monday, I see things have been knocked over.  Signs, trees, etc... Then I came across the poor fallen free newsstands, and it triggered a memory.

Flashback to my college days, we are walking back towards GW campus after a night out at the bars, and I would pick up newsstands that had been knocked over (likely the very ones knocked over by other drunk people) and set them back in their rightful places.

Not exactly sure why I started doing it, and it wasn't all the time.  Maybe only when I felt like I needed to make up for something or if I needed an extra boost of good karma that week.

Anyway, it was a random memory for a Monday afternoon...
