It's not your vision, it's the tree...

Yes, we are fake tree people.  No one is ever home to enjoy (or water) a real one so it makes the most sense.  Sad story is that my mom unknowingly threw out most of our childhood ornaments with the last fake tree, so the two that were somehow salvaged still hang proudly (I think Paul made both of them in elementary school).
